Benetti has abandoned another beautiful baby in the open sea.
The 220-foot ship, formerly known as Project Rinascimento, was built at the Benetti shipyard in Livorno, Italy, and delivered to its owner last fall. The luxury yacht, designed by Giorgio M. Casetta, combines extraordinary proportions and impeccable craftsmanship. The vessel borrows design cues from the award-winning 206ft Metis superyacht delivered by Cassetta & Benetti in 2018, but is larger and more luxurious than its predecessor.
Lady A has a streamlined appearance, a sharp vertical bow, a sleek steel hull and a lightweight aluminum superstructure. Teak flooring runs throughout all six decks, creating a classic, upscale ambiance.
With a beam of approximately 38 feet, Lady A also offers plenty of space on board. Designed in-house, the interior combines painted maple and Macassar ebony with gleaming black and white Saint Laurent marble. The spacious layout includes seven cabins that can accommodate 14 guests and an elevator that gives sailors easy access to all levels.
The upper deck is reserved exclusively for the owner and includes a full-beam owner’s cabin with a separate office and dual bathrooms. The main deck houses two VIP staff, while the lower deck houses four guest cabins and crew quarters. Lady A can accommodate up to 19 crew members, offering five-star service to guests.
Designed for entertaining, Lady A has several outdoor areas suitable for al fresco evenings. The Bridge, also known as the “Party Deck”, has a large bar and plenty of seating. The sun deck is equipped with a Jacuzzi and the obligatory sun lounger, while the bow area is centered around another luxurious salon. Lady A also welcomes relaxation: there is a soothing hammam in the beach club downstairs.
In terms of power, the Lady A is powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines producing over 1,800 horsepower. The yacht can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles. This beauty is not only stylish; This is also strong.
